The Real Alcazar, also know as the al-Qasr al-Muriq, is a royal fortress in Seville, Andalucia, Spain. It was at first a castle for a Muslim King on the land of the Abadid Muslim and it is now owned by the Spanish kingdom.
There are two sections in the Alcazar of Seville, the palace and the gardens.
My sister and I preferred the gardens because it had a maze where we would play hide and seek and we would run away from our parents.
We actually got lost in the maze… Here’s is us before we got lost:
When we walked in the gardens we saw a lot of beautiful creatures like ducks, pigeons, parrots of every sorts of color, and majestic peacocks.
In the palace, the other place which we also liked, there were plenty of colorful mosaics and azulejos that covered the ceilings and floors throughout the mystical palace. The detailed decorations were either made of plaster, wood, marble, stone and ceramics.
We spent 3 hours filled with fun, grabbed some ice cream and went back to the hotel.
